  • A proactive, strengths-based assessment to support a confident transition into kindergarten.

We offer comprehensive Kindergarten Transition Assessments to support and empower children and their parents in the year before kindergarten. These assessments provide a thoughtful snapshot of a child’s cognitive, early academic, and social-emotional skills, with a focus on strengths, learning style, and how they approach new challenges. The goal is to help families better understand what is going well and also to identify areas to nurture and support as children prepare for school. Our process provides a proactive, strengths-based lens to parents to guide early support and thoughtful decision-making.

    Each assessment includes:

    • A thorough parent interview and direct interaction with the child

    • Gold-standard, age-appropriate assessment tools and questionnaires

    • A feedback session to review findings and highlight strengths and areas for growth

    • A detailed written report summarizing results in clear, parent-friendly language

    • Practical, evidence-based recommendations to support learning, confidence, and emotional regulation at home and in early school environments

    • This process is intended to give families clarity, reassurance, and a thoughtful roadmap for supporting their child’s transition into kindergarten with confidence.

    Kindergarten transition assessment: $2000

  • Supporting parents with practical tools and steady guidance so you do not have to do this alone.

Big feelings. Tantrums. Acting out. Sibling rivalry. Screen-time battles. Middle-of-the-night wakings. And the list goes on. If parenting feels hard right now, that is because it is hard. Parent coaching offers a supportive, non-judgmental space to pause, feel understood, and gain guidance during challenging moments.

Many parents come to parent coaching feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to support their young child’s emotions, behaviour, and growing independence. These sessions are designed to help parents better understand their child and feel more confident and grounded in how they respond.

Drawing on current research in child development, psychology, and neuroscience, parent coaching begins with understanding early brain development and why certain behaviours show up when they do. From there, we work collaboratively to identify practical, actionable strategies that make sense for your child’s age and stage, fit your family and real life, and help your child thrive.

  • Helping children and teens develop skills, confidence, and resilience so they can thrive over time.

We provide thoughtful, evidence-based therapy for children and teenagers who are struggling with anxiety, stress, or emotional overwhelm that is beginning to interfere with daily life. Families reach out for many reasons, including early signs that their child may need additional support, as well as when challenges that have been present for a long time begin to feel harder to manage or become more of a concern. Our focus is on understanding what is happening beneath the surface and helping children and teens build skills that support confidence, emotional well-being, and greater ease in everyday life.

Therapy sessions are engaging, structured, and goal-oriented, while remaining flexible and tailored to each child. We use approaches that are well supported by research and tailored to what works for your child, with an emphasis on skill-building and meaningful practice between sessions. Progress is tracked over time and shared with families. Visual supports and practical resources are provided to help reinforce concepts and bridge the gap between the therapy room and real life.

    Individual therapy: $250/hour

  • A collaborative space for parents to reflect, understand their child more deeply, build skills, and support positive change at home.

Parenting is demanding, especially when a child is having big or intense emotions, acting in ways that feel challenging, or navigating a specific mental health challenge. Parent coaching sessions offer a supportive space for caregivers to pause, make sense of what is happening, and feel less alone in the process.

These sessions are designed to help parents understand their child more deeply and feel more confident in how they respond. Drawing on current research in child development, psychology, and neuroscience, parent coaching sessions often begin by making sense of how children’s brains develop and why certain behaviours show up when they do. From there, we will work collaboratively to identify practical strategies that fit your family, your values, and your real life.

We offer parent consultation for caregivers of children of all ages, including expectant parents who want support even before their child arrives. While many parents seek consultation during the early childhood years, this service can also be helpful for parents of teens. In these cases, sessions focus on understanding adolescent development and strengthening the parent teen relationship, particularly when a teen is not yet ready for therapy or is already working with their own mental health care provider.

    Parent coaching: $250/hour

  • A concentrated therapy format for families seeking traction and progress in a shorter timeframe.

Short-term intensives offer a concentrated approach to therapy for children, teens, or parents who are looking to build momentum and make progress around a very specific goal. Compared to traditional weekly or biweekly sessions, intensives involve longer sessions scheduled closer together, often within the same week or over consecutive days.

This format allows for highly focused work, helping families gain clarity, build skills, and see movement more quickly than is sometimes possible with standard pacing. Care remains thoughtful, individualized, and grounded in evidence-based practice, while taking advantage of the added continuity and depth that intensive scheduling can provide.

Short-term intensives may be a good fit for:

    • Families working within a limited window of time, such as school breaks or upcoming transitions

    • Families who find it difficult to attend regular weekly sessions but can commit to a short, focused period of care

    • Teens with demanding academic or extracurricular schedules who would benefit from a more concentrated format

    • Families living in BC who are outside of the Lower Mainland but would be able to travel to Vancouver for a brief period of focused support

    • Children or teens who have not experienced the progress they were hoping for with standard weekly therapy and may benefit from a different treatment rhythm

    Short-term intensives: $250/hour

Not sure which service may be the right fit for your child?

Choosing a therapy format is a collaborative decision. During intake or early sessions, we work with families to think carefully about goals, timing, and what level of structure will be most supportive.
Formats can also shift over time as needs change.
